The hardware key attached to my parallel port cannot be found
My computer can detect a USB-key, but is not able to see the key attached to my parallel port. Why is that?
Solution:
There has been some
cases where the System Driver ver 5.41 has not been able to detect the parallel
port. This was due to inconvenient bios configuration, and has in
particular been a problem with some Toshiba Satellite Pro laptops.
In these cases, the parallel port needs to be added manually to the driver configuration. The document below describes this process in detail.
